About 10 years ago I edited the "Sovereign Grace Directory". It lasted for 5 editions and I stopped. What was it? It was a world wide directory of 5 point Calvinists who had tapes, books, newsletters, videos, or any other form of media for distribution. Many people ended up using the directory for when they traveled so as to have a place to attend church as they traveled. The response was overwhelmingly positive. It got to be too hard to maintain because of all the constant changes to the hard copy and it was somewhat expensive to copy. It was when I got online to the Internet and saw the method I was using was not as effective as an electronic version would be.
What is the plan now?
Start it again but start it locally. The Greater Cincinnati area first, then spread out. The plan is to list those within an hours drive from downtown Cincinnati. I guess this will be in the form of a blog to start out with so groups could leave their info at the blog and I would start to compile the list. The plan later was to have a few conferences to deal with current issues in reference to sovereign grace. There is also the purpose of meeting new people and networking with those interested in fellowship. Those who are new to sovereign grace and need help or are having problems as they preach to an Arminian congregation who may be resistant to the truth, etc.
Why?
I have many things I would like to communicate to preachers who hold to sovereign grace. The main thing being the relationship between sovereign grace and the gospel itself and the danger of Arminianism today as well as historically. Of course I want to direct these preachers to the resources on our web site.
The Spread of Sovereign Grace?
From what I hear on the theological landscape the idea and truths of Sovereign Grace and or Calvinism is becoming more "popular" in our day. I want our church to be there to aid folks in viewing these doctrines, not as play doctrinal toys, but show the importance and implications of what is heard, believed, promoted, and loved.
More on this later.
In the meantime any group or pastor who is a 5 pointer and is in the Greater Cincinnati area please contact me with your info and any other ideas you may have.

What is The Latest With GGC Ministry?
Has been a very busy Summer. Our new facility we are renting is working well for us. We had our first annual topical conference in August on the topic of the Preeminence of Christ. I am working out the fine details on the transfer of cassette tapes to digital audio via the computer (getting used to the Sony Sound Forge software). CD's should be available soon. Also learning a little about digital video and want to soon post some stuff on You Tube and or SermonAudio.com.
We are praying that the Lord will send us a tech-nerd to do all this stuff. Spending a little money in the local paper for advertising and pray it will a means for God's sheep to come into the Kingdom of grace.
Thinking about starting up a sovereign grace directory for the Tri-State area (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana). If some of you are familiar with the one I edited back in the 90's that went six editions, it will be similar to that but electronic only instead of hard copy.
Also am working on an altogether different blog that concerns "high-calvinism". That is all I want to say about that project for now. Hope to get that rolling very soon.
Well, keep in touch. I will try to post a little more often, especially when we have news.
Later my friends,

May God Bless His Gospel and Those Who Love It
My prayer is that the Lord God Almighty would bless His truth and His people as they seek to preach, teach, promote, and defend the glory of God's grace in Christ. May those who are approved be made known and the churches which are of the enemies of the cross who blaspheme His character, whether on purpose or ignorantly, would crumble. God does have His purpose in heresy and I pray God's people will readily see it and expose it in this evil world. Mark them which cause division among you. Pray for each of God's assemblies wherever they are who stand for His gospel. The hour is late. AMEN!

Transition Time
Gospel of Grace Church is a small flock of God's sheep that has been meeting in the community meeting room in the basement of a bank in Ross, Ohio. The church started out as a Bible study in a home about 7 years ago with 4 people. Over the years the group has slowly grown to what we have now. More people that we even have in attendance now have come and gone, some staying for months and some as little as one visit. Those who have lasted have boldly proclaimed their love for the gospel of grace and mainly their unashamed stand on the offense of the cross.
Last year the church purchased a building lot in the greater Cincinnati area just across the county line, 3-4 miles where we presently meet. the plan is to build in the next couple years if the Lord provides the means to do so.
A few weeks ago the bank told us we need to find another place to meet because of liability and security reasons. The Lord has provided an inexpensive place just a mile down the road in the local school administrative building. There is plenty of space, good parking, no steps, and bright windows unlike the basement. We hope to meet there until we get into a more permanent spot. We will give details about our new space when we get in it. Lord willing we will be in some time in March.
We hope to provide some pictures soon so you can see these people who God has held together over these few years. We are asking the Lord to give us some more sheep if He is willing. This new spot we will meet in just may be a means to get some visitors. Some think so because they have been told that folks are hesitant in going down in a basement because they think it is cult-like.
I know none of this is deep theology but is an information update for any who care about God's church and their attempt to serve Him with the means available. Please pray for us as we, by faith and in love, do the work of the ministry. I also want to thank anyone who has ever help us in the past by whatever means you have used.
Thanks,
Scott Price

The Love of God in Christ
by Mike Eddy (member of Gospel of Grace Church)
God's great salvation of grace is freely given to those He loved with an everlasting love that is before time and creation of this world (2Tim.1:9). Christ Jesus is called the lamb slain before the foundation of the world (Rev 13:8). God purposed before creation to send forth His Son to save a people given by the Father to the Son to deliver them and them only. God set His love upon them, that is His love is only in Christ. That love was (and is) in Christ where all the church dwells (they are the remnant, elect, children of God, the sheep, spiritual Israel which are all synonymous)- Look at Romans 8:39 "...nor height nor depth, nor any created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " Who are the us that can't be separated from the love of God? Look back up to verse 28. Those who love God, those who are the called according to His purpose. Again verse 29 -They are the foreknown (which means loved intimately before creation, Adam knew Eve and she conceived) they are the predestined to be conformed to His (Christ's) image, they are the called, (verse 30) they are those justified and glorified- PAST TENSE. They are God's Elect (chosen by the Father and given to Christ) from verse 33 (see John 6:36-40,10:11-15, 25-30, 17:1-9). His love is particular and NOT universal, those He loves He saves!
From Ephesians 1:3-6, "He choose us (referring to all saints, verse 1, especially saints at Ephesus- The Church!) in Him, that is Christ, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love." The amazing thing about God's love is that it saves! His love does not dwell with those in Hell, His hatred and wrath dwell with those. God did not love Esau or Pharoah but Jacob (Rom. 9:6-21). He loved Mary, Martha, and Lazuras but did not love Judas. (John 11:5, John 6:70-71, what reason would Scripture speak about Jesus' love for them if He loved all people!) Therefore Christ died for those He loved those He would give spiritual life and faith in THIS Christ to. (Isaiah 53:10-12) They shall call Him Jesus for He SHALL SAVE HIS PEOPLE from their sins (Matt. 1:21). Yes, Christ Jesus loves His people and that love never fails to accomplish their salvation. This is not the jesus preached and taught about in the vast majority of so-called churches today. That jesus is a false christ, a failure because he loves everyone, died for everyone but never saves because he is a lie, not the Way, Truth, and Life.

Your Body As A Living Sacrifice
By Scott Price
God's people sometimes get on health kicks where they try to improve their body for a many different reasons. This usually happens as a "New Years Resolution". Well, something needs thought of correctly in our minds and established there until the day we die not just a feeling at the first few days of the year. That thought is that our body is to be a living sacrifice in all that we think, say and do. Our intention should be to take care of our body for the glory of God so as to serve in the ministry of the gospel. The Scripture exhorts us to be alive, awake and zealous in His kingdom serving Him in the church, in evangelism, or in whatever capacity that we know needs to be done. We serve a living God and God's people are not to be half dead ourselves, slothful, sluggish, etc. Many who claim to believe in the sovereignty of God seem to be fatalistic in this area of life. Is the ministry of the gospel in being a responsible church member not enough to motive? This is the reason to improve our health! There are so many means available to do this but most do not see the importance of this idea.
In closing let us not forget something very important that goes along with a healthy body ready to be used by the Lord to serve Him; that is a strong healthy mind. It is obvious that there is a definite connection between our minds and the health of our bodies. Stress and anxiety are bad for one's health. The Scriptures exhort us in many different places not to worry about things. So does that mean we should "worry" about our health? That may be the answer the lazy fatalist may give for a reason not to have to do the right thing. How about the word concern or better yet how about the idea of being responsible? The fatalist is also one who thinks negatively the majority of the time. The mind can waste away if not used properly. The mind is something the Lord uses to in all things that we do. It is a vital part of our heart, which includes our will and affections. Notice in the Scriptures all the places where we are exhorted to guard and strengthen the mind for use in His kingdom and for His glory. Ask the Lord to give you the knowledge, strength and will to do so right now for His glory.

He is Right
Scott Price
As God's people mature in this life of faith they gradually become less concerned with their own honor, their name, their reputation, etc. People in religion are always interested in THEM being right on a subject. This mind-set lends to the idea that the person is getting some sort of credit for being correct (as if the person created the truth or at least "discovered" the truth). God is the God of truth. Christ Himself said He is TRUTH! When we see, understand, believe, and defend the truth we are merely agreeing with Christ as He reveals His gospel to our minds. We get no credit. Their is not discovery on owr part. It is all of grace by revelation and God-given faith. We, of course, did NOT improve the truth somehow by believing it or defending it. God is always out front leading the way in the area of truth and we are following His lead. We are "Johnny come lately" not the fountian source of eternal truth. The prideful attitude of being puffed up stinks to heaven. We need more truth and more love of it. I pray the Lord sends it to us.
